Tuesday’s WWE Smackdown Live averaged 2.319 million viewers for USA Network, according to Showbuzzdaily.com. The number was down slightly from the 2.350 million count from last Tuesday’s edition.
Powell’s POV: Smackdown essentially held steady coming out of the holiday weekend. It’s worth nothing that the premiere of the heavily promoted series “The Purge” drew 1.389 million viewers coming out of Smackdown on USA Network. The Miz & Mrs. premiere delivered 1.473 million viewers in the same slot back on July 24. The September 6, 2017 edition of Smackdown delivered 2.582 million viewers.

Hmmm, so Jinder Mahal’s reign wasn’t the ratings disaster everyone made it out to be. Looks like he outdrew A.J. Styles but am sure some will be making excuses.
