AEW All In Texas Pre-Show
Streamed live July 12, 2025, on social media
Arlington, Texas, at Globe Life Field
-The pre-show opened with a highlight package that also included an AEW All In Texas mural being spray-painted.
-Renee Paquette, RJ City, Paul Wight, and Jeff Jarrett hosted the pre-show from inside a ring set up on the main floor.
-Jarrett ran through the rules of a Texas Death match, which are essentially that there are no rules, no time limit, and the match can only end via submission or if a wrestler can’t answer a ten-count. There was a whiteboard that also had the rules listed on it.
-Footage aired of Paquette interviewing “not just Jon Moxley, but my husband” regarding the Texas Death Match. Moxley was driving an SUV while Paquette was in the passenger seat. Paquette said Hangman Page won’t be letting his kids watch the Texas Death Match. Moxley said it was a great idea and the smartest move that Page ever made.
Paquette said Moxley has pushed the boundaries since he won the AEW World Championship. Moxley said that was exactly it. He said the idea is to find out if other wrestlers really want it. Moxley said it’s a war of attrition, and questioned whether Page is better than he was two years ago.
Paquette asked why she had a pit in her stomach about the match. Moxley said Page “can’t do shit to me.” Moxley said people are so sure that Page is going to win the match. Moxley asked what about the last year he has had that has led people to believe that he will lose. Moxley said he can’t stand Page. Paquette questioned why. Moxley said Page has relatability in that the fans see themselves in him. Moxley said he doesn’t see himself in Page. Moxley said Page has everything right in front of him, but he doesn’t see it, and he’s already lost. Moxley said he has a responsibility, it’s heavy, and people don’t understand that.
Powell’s POV: This was good enough that AEW really should have found room for it on Dynamite or Collision.
-Arlington Mayor Jim Ross (not that one) joined the pre-show hosts in the ring for a moment, and then a guy from AEW’s daily fantasy sports company joined the hosts.
-Madison Rayne joined the pre-show hosts to discuss the AEW Women’s Championship match and the women’s Casino Gauntlet.
-RJ City’s sit-down interview with Kris Statlander aired. She came off heelish throughout the interview.
–Paquette announced that Adam Cole was not medically cleared for his TNT Title defense against Kyle Fletcher. Paquette said the replacement match will be Daniel Garcia vs. Dustin Rhodes vs. Kyle Fletcher vs. Sammy Guevara in a four-way for the vacated TNT Championship.
-Footage from the documentary on the Briscoe family was shown.
-Nigel McGuinness joined the pre-show hosts in the ring briefly.
-A video package aired on Kenny Omega vs. Kazuchika Okada.
-Josh Mathews (the spelling listed on a graphic) joined the pre-show hosts in the ring to discuss a number of matches.
-Footage aired from after AEW Dynamite of Josh Mathews interviewing Swerve Strickland and Will Ospreay inside a locker room. Mathews asked Swerve about Ospreay throwing out the stipulation that they won’t be able to challenge for the AEW World Championship for a full year if they don’t beat The Young Bucks. “Yeah, Will, how do we feel about it now?” Swerve asked. Ospreay told Swerve that if something bad happens and they lose, the stipulation is on him and he’ll make it his mission to make it up to him. Swerve told Ospreay that he was just kidding, and he also accepted the challenge. Swerve said he wouldn’t be there if he didn’t believe in Ospreay.
-Footage aired of Jeff Jarrett’s interview with Hangman Page. They focused on their history in a playful way to start, and then Page spoke about the AEW World Championship match.
-Ring announcer Arkady Aura delivered the introductions for the opening match while the entrances took place around the top of the second hour.
1. Dustin Rhodes, Sammy Guevara, Ross Von Erich, and Marshall Von Erich (w/Kevin Von Erich) vs. Shane Taylor, Lee Moriarty, Carlie Bravo, and Shawn Dean (w/Anthony Ogogo, Trish Adora) in an eight-man tag. Excalibur, Nigel McGuinness, and Tony Schiavone were on commentary. Ogogo approached Kevin and made a fist while a couple of men were down inside the ring. Wyatt Rhodes and Wayne Rhodes stepped up and stood at Kevin’s side, causing Ogogo to back down. Excalibur noted that Dustin trained Wyatt and Wayne.
In the ring, Dustin hit CrossRhodes on Dean, but his pin attempt was broken up. The babyfaces all applied Iron Claws. Ogogo entered the ring. Kevin confronted Ogogo and put him in an Iron Claw. The referee counted as Dustin pinned Dean…
Dustin Rhodes, Sammy Guevara, Ross Von Erich, and Marshall Von Erich beat Shane Taylor, Lee Moriarty, Carlie Bravo, and Shawn Dean in an eight-man tag match in 7:15.
Entrances for the next eight-man tag match took place…
2. Big Boom AJ, Hologram, Kyle O’Reilly, and Tomohiro Ishii (w/Big Justice, The Rizzler) vs. Lance Archer, Hechicero, Trent Beretta, and Rocky Romero in an eight-man tag match. Early in the match, Romero put the boots to O’Reilly right in front of where Justice and Rizzler were seated. Romero jawed in the face of Justice. Beretta moved Romero out of the way and then pie-faced Justice to the ground (the kid brought it on himself!). The crowd booed.
A short time later, AJ threw punches at various opponents, but Archer cut him off. AJ clotheslined Archer over the top rope. AJ pressed Romero over his head and tossed him onto Archer on the floor. AJ set up for a “powerboom” on Beretta that was broken up by Hechicero.
Late in the match, Hologram performed a dive onto partners and opponents on the floor. AJ set up for a powerboom on Romero, but Beretta superkicked AJ to break it up. AJ dropped Beretta with a clothesline. Romero held the referee. Justice took advantage of the distraction by entering the ring and spearing Beretta. AJ hugged his son, who then exited the ring. AJ hit Romero with a powerboom and pinned him…
Big Boom AJ, Hologram, Kyle O’Reilly, and Tomohiro Ishii defeated Lance Archer, Hechicero, Trent Beretta, and Rocky Romero in an eight-man tag match in 12:45.
Powell’s POV: I don’t pretend to understand the popularity of The Costco Guys, but it’s undeniable. The live crowd was behind them and had fun with the match.
Entrances for the final pre-show match took place…
3. “FTR” Dak Harwood and Cash Wheeler (w/Stokely Hathaway) vs. “The Outrunners” Truth Magnum and Turbo Floyd. The Outrunners had new gear, which McGuinness said looked like a pack of cigarettes. Funny, they do look like they were inspired by a pack of Newports. There was a cool spot where Magnum tried to dive to his corner, but Harwood cut him off by colliding with him. Magnum came close to tagging out again, but this time Wheeler pulled Floyd off the apron.
Floyd eventually took a hot tag and took turns bodyslamming both opponents repeatedly. Floyd followed up by repeatedly clotheslining Harwood and Wheeler in opposite corners, and then bulldogged Harwood. Wheeler tried to break up the Outrunners’ handshake, but Floyd slammed him on top of Harwood. The Outrunners did their handshake and elbow drop spot for a near fall. Harwood rolled up Floyd and held the tights while getting a two count.
Harwood and Wheeler set up for a spike piledriver, but Magnum broke it up and clotheslined Harwood, which led to Floyd executing a jackknife pin for a near fall. There was a clunky spot with Magnum taking out Wheeler, which led to a near fall for Floyd on Harwood. The Outrunners set up for a Shatter Machine, but FTR broke it up. FTR went for the same move, but it didn’t work out. The Outrunners hit Total Recall on Harwood and had him pinned, but Hathaway pulled Floyd out of the ring. Floyd chased Hathaway inside the ring. Harwood rolled up a distracted Floyd and put his feet on the ropes while Wheeler and Hathaway provided extra leverage, which resulted in a three count.
“FTR” Dak Harwood and Cash Wheeler defeated “The Outrunners” Truth Magnum and Turbo Floyd in 16:10.
After the match, the camera mic picked up Wheeler calling a fan the uncensored version of mofo. Floyd and Magnum hugged in the ring while FTR headed to the back…
Powell’s POV: This was not as hot as the recent match these two had on AEW Collision, but it was still entertaining, and the live crowd was invested. As much as I grumble about the length of most pro wrestling pre-shows, I don’t mind when companies go with longer pre-shows for their marquee events. It looks like they are wrapping up momentarily, so I will hop over to my report on the main card, which is available separately via the main page.

What?
That doesn’t look like Jim Ross!
Will the real Jim Ross stand up please!
Lol
