NWA Powerrr series premiere, AEW Dynamite, NXT on USA, and WWE Smackdown poll results, Impact pay-per-view on AXS, ROH TV, WWE Total Divas, The Miz, Paul Burchill, Art Barr

-The National Wrestling Alliance’s studio show “NWA Powerrr” premieres this afternoon at 5:05CT/6:05ET on the NWA’s Youtube and Facebook pages. The first show is headlined by Nick Aldis vs. Tim Storm for the NWA Championship. Join me for live coverage today as the first show is streaming.

-The majority of Dot Net voters gave AEW Dynamite’s premiere episode an A in our post show poll with 38 percent of the vote. B finished second with 37 percent of the vote. Only 9 percent of the voters gave the show a sub average grade. Jake Barnett and I both gave the show a B in last week’s Dot Net Weekly audio show.

-The NXT on USA Network show earned an A grade from 65 percent of the voters in our post show poll. B finished second with 20 percent. As was the case with AEW, only 9 percent of the voters gave the show a sub average grade. I gave the show an A- grade.

-The premiere of Friday Night Smackdown on Fox scored a B grade from 32 percent of our voters. The rest of the voting was spread out with A and D both getting 19 percent of the vote, C received 16 percent of the vote, and F got 14 percent of the vote. I gave the show a B- grade.

-Impact Wrestling Rebellion pay-per-view will air tonight on AXS TV at 7CT/8ET. The show was held on April 28, 2019 in Toronto, Ontario at the Rebel Complex and featured the following matches: Johnny Impact vs. Brian Cage for the Impact World Championship with Lance Storm as special referee, Pentagon Jr. and Fenix vs. “LAX” Santana and Ortiz in a Full Metal Mayhem match for the Impact Wrestling Tag Titles, Taya Valkyrie vs. Jordynne Grace for the Knockouts Title, Rich Swann vs. Sami Callihan for the X Division Championship, Gail Kim vs. Tessa Blanchard, The Rascalz vs. Moose, Josh Alexander, and Ethan Page, Scarlet Bordeaux vs. Rohit Raju, and an X Division six-way with Aiden Prince vs. Eddie Edwards vs. Ace Austin vs. Petey Williams vs. Jake Crist vs. Cousin Jake. The weekly Impact Wrestling television series will official debut on AXS on Tuesday, October 29.

-The latest Ring of Honor television show features a special lucha libre edition of the show. My written review will be available today along with my members’ exclusive audio review.

-The ninth season of WWE Total Divas continues tonight at 9CT/10ET on E! Network. The is labeled “All Is Fair In Love And War” and lists Carmella’s new relationship exposed and implicated as an affair, Sonya Deville wins back her ex-girlfriend just in time to celebrate Pride, and Natalya seeks to live on in her dad’s legacy.

-The Miz (Mike Mizanin) is 39 today.

-Paul Burchill (Paul Birchall) is 40 today.

-The late Art Barr was born on October 8, 1966. He died on November 23, 1994 at age 28 from undisclosed causes.
