-The WWE Royal Rumble event received a B grade from 54 percent of Dot Net voters. Jake Barnett and I also gave the show a B in our audio review on Sunday night.
-Dot Net voters gave the Asuka vs. Becky Lynch match the nod for best match of the Royal Rumble event with 27 percent of the vote. It was a close win, as the Ronda Rousey vs. Sasha Banks match produced 23 percent of the vote, and the women’s Royal Rumble match scored 22 percent of the vote. I preferred the Rousey vs. Banks match, but Asuka vs. Lynch was also top notch.
-The NXT Takeover: Phoenix event received an A grade from 65 percent of the voters. 30 percent gave the show a B grade. I gave the show a B+ in my audio review on Saturday night.
-Ricochet vs. Johnny Gargano for the NXT North American Championship ran away with the best NXT Takeover: Phoenix match with 71 percent of the vote. I agree with the voters.
-Monday’s WWE Raw received a B grade with 51 percent of the vote in our weekly poll. I also gave the show a B grade.
-Tuesday’s WWE Smackdown received a majority vote of B as the letter grade with 37 percent of the vote. I gave the show an C grade.
