WWE crossover star Ronda Rousey was named the headliner of the UFC Hall of Fame Class of 2018 on Saturday in Chicago. She will be the first female member of the UFC Hall of Fame.
Powell’s POV: UFC aired the Hall of Fame announcement video package following CM Punk’s loss to Mike Jackson on Saturday at UFC 225. Rousey did not make an appearance at the show, though she is expected to accept the induction in person at the July 5 ceremony in Las Vegas. She is obviously a deserving honoree given her UFC success and for everything she for the company and the women’s division.
