Baron Corbin cashed in his Money in the Bank contract at the end of Tuesday’s WWE Smackdown Live television show. Corbin cashed in while Jinder Mahal was down on the mat following his match with John Cena. When the bell rang, Corbin fought off Cena briefly, then was rolled up by Mahal for the quick pin.
Powell’s POV: Horribly underwhelming use of the Money in the Bank gimmick. It’s not that I mind Corbin failing to cash in successfully. Rather, it’s because the way Corbin failed felt uneventful and also made him look like a laughing stock.
