The return of Halftime Heat was announced during the WWE Royal Rumble Kickoff Show. The NXT brand will feature Tommaso Ciampa, Johnny Gargano, and Adam Cole vs. Ricochet, Aleister Black, and Velveteen Dream in a six-man tag match that will air on WWE Network and social media platforms during halftime of the NFL Super Bowl on Sunday, February 3.

Powell’s POV: The original Halftime Heat in 1999 featured The Rock vs. Mankind in an Empty Arena match. It’s cool to see WWE bring back the concept, especially in a year when the Super Bowl’s Maroon 5 halftime show does nothing for me.
