6/27 WWE Raw Pre-Show notes: Live coverage of the WWE Network broadcast

The following is live notes of the WWE Raw pre-show that is being broadcast on the WWE Network. Refresh the page for the latest updates. -The show opened with a shot of fans entering the arena in Tampa. Scott Stanford, Corey Graves, and Booker T hosted the show from the WWE Studios in Stamford, Connecticut.

-The trio focussed on the Battleground main event of Dean Ambrose vs. Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. There was no mention of Reigns being suspended. Rollins will open Raw.

-The spotlight shifted to the Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn feud.

-Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn will appear on Chris Jericho’s Highlight Reel segment on Raw.

-New Day appear on Raw. The graphic read “The Power of Positivity” so there was no indication as to what they will be doing. Stanford acknowledged that Xavier Woods seems to be captivated whenever Bray Wyatt speaks.

-Rusev vs. Titus O’Neil was announced for Raw.

-Stanford plugged the WWE Cruiserweight Classic. Footage of Mauro Ranallo and Daniel Bryan setting up the tournament was shown, and then footage aired from the “parade.” The introductioin of Brian Kendrick, Cedric Alexander, Zack Sabre Jr., and Kota Ibushi were shown.

-Graves spoke about how great the atmosphere was in the building. He spoke about how it felt like he was a part of something special and how Triple H labeled it the beginning of a new brand. Booker T spoke about the cruiserweights in WCW and how politics held them back. He said we will be talking about the “CWC Champion before it’s all over with.”

-Paige and Sasha Banks vs. Charlotte and Dana Brooke was announced for Raw.
