AEW Dynamite rating and viewership for Tony Khan’s latest big announcement and a coffin match

By Jason Powell, ProWrestling.net Editor (@prowrestlingnet)

Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite television show produced 930,000 viewers for TBS, according to Showbuzzdaily.com. The viewership count was down from the 977,000 viewership total from last week.

Powell’s POV: Dynamite finished fourth in the 18-49 demo in Wednesday’s cable ratings with a 0.37 rating, equal to last week’s 0.37 in the same demo. Monday’s WWE Raw finished with a 0.47 rating on USA Network. Two NBA Playoff games topped the cable ratings and a post-game show finished third.

  1. It seems like even the TK surprises aren’t bumping the rating anymore.

  2. Against the NBA Playoffs any cable program will be in for a tough time. I’m surprised that AEW did as well as was reported.

There were NBA playoffs last year and AEW’s ratings were higher than they are this year. Stop making excuses for them.

Last year April 14 had 1,219,000.
This year April 13 had 977,000.

Last year April 21 had 1,104,000.
This year April 20 had 930,000.

AEW did so “well” Sam, that it’s down 20% from last year at the same time with the same competition.
