Taiji Ishimori announced his departure from Pro Wrestling Noah over the weekend. Ishimori stated that he wants to be active internationally and is open to offices home and abroad, according to a Twitter post by Chris Charlton.
Powell’s POV: Ishimori has been with Pro Wrestling Noah since 2006. He recently worked for Impact Wrestling as part of a talent exchange with Noah. He had a run with the X Division Championship, which ended in a loss to Matt Sydal that aired on Thursday’s television show. The 35 year-old Ishimori is a talented wrestler and it will be interesting to see where he goes next.
Taiji Ishimori left NOAH saying if he didn’t take a big step now, he’ll regret it forever.
