It was announced during a conference call with Impact Wrestling executives Don Callis and Scott D’Amore that the company will be introducing new title belts in April.
Powell’s POV: This is a welcome change given that the current belts were made when the company was branded as Global Force Wrestling and now simply have an Impact Wrestling plate that covers up the GFW logo. We’ll have the full conference call available as a free podcast later this morning.
