The TNA Impact Wrestling Bound For Glory pay-per-view and next week’s television tapings are expected to take place as scheduled. TNA executive Dixie Carter addressed the situation via Twitter. “I don’t make it a habit to reply to speculation, but I’ll say if you’re close to Orlando this Sun-Sat YOU DO NOT WANT TO MISS THESE TAPINGS!”
Powell’s POV: Dixie has had some real doozie statements in the past, but this one takes the cake. Billy Corgan, who replaced her as the TNA President, appeared on ESPN and spoke about the ownership mess and the question as to whether the Bound For Glory pay-per-view would take place as scheduled. In other words, this is not a case of speculation, it’s a fact that there are some very serious questions about her company’s future. For those keeping score at home, I noted on Twitter prior to Dixie’s statements was that several talent and the crew members believed the Bound For Glory pay-per-view would take place as scheduled.
