The premiere of “American Grit” hosted by WWE star John Cena is tonight at 8:00 p.m. CT. on FOX.
Powell’s POV: The early reviews of the show concept suggest that the concept is similar to ones used on other shows, including FOX’s own “Boot Camp.” However, Cena is getting rave reviews, including a Time.com critic stating that he could become, well, “superstar.” For those keeping tabs, WWE did not promote the show on Monday’s Raw, nor are they giving it love on their website, presumably due to the fact that it airs opposite the second hour of Smackdown.
