A.J. Styles, Doc Gallows, Karl Anderson, and The Young Bucks took part in their own curtain call at the ROH television taping in Duluth, Georgia on Saturday. The Bullet Club members met in mid-ring for a final sendoff, as it is expected to be the final show that the group will work together before Styles, Gallows, and Anderson join WWE. You can view footage from the curtain call at Twitter.com/MattJackson13/status/691124641105100800.
Powell’s POV: The original curtain call featured Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, Shawn Michaels, and Triple H breaking character by celebrating in the ring at Madison Square Garden on May 19, 1996. Hall and Nash were leaving for WCW, and the highly controversial move led to Triple H being the scapegoat. It’s fitting that the Bullet Club members had their own curtain call given that they pay homage to the NWO and The Kliq with the “too sweet” hand gestures.
