-If you were hoping to avoid all WWE Smackdown spoilers before Thursday’s airing, it was made more difficult by WWE. The WWE website lists a spoiler warning for a title change on its main page. However, a visit to the WWE News section of the website gives away the title and the winner in the headline. Check it out at WWE.com.

-Dean Ambrose vs. Kevin Owens in a Last Man Standing match for the Intercontinental Championship was aded to the Royal Rumble lineup at Tuesday’s Smackdown taping.

Powell’s POV: Obviously, the spoiler is a strategic move by WWE, as they clearly believe that giving away the result of the match will lead to more people watching Smackdown to see Alberto Del Rio beating Kalisto to regain the U.S. Championship. After all, this is the same company that benefitted greatly from Tony Schiavone announcing on WCW Nitro that Mick Foley would win the world title on a taped edition of Raw. Meanwhile, I apologize for a typo in the Smackdown spoilers, as I incorrectly listed that Sheamus challenged Owens to the match. Obviously, it’s Ambrose vs. Owens, and I see the match as a nice peak to their feud.
