TNA Impact (Episode 1,112)
Orlando, Florida, at Full Sail University
Simulcast live on November 13, 2025, on AXS TV and TNA+
[Hour One] Tom Hannifan opened the show and noted that the show was back and live for the first time since the Bound For Glory pay-per-view. Matt Rehwoldt joined Hannifan on commentary.
TNA World Champion Mike Santana started to make his entrance, and then the opening montage played. Santana entered the ring dressed in non-wrestling attire and told the fans it was good to be back in front of them. A “you deserve it” chant broke out. Santana spoke in Spanish “to my people” for a moment.
Powell’s POV: I’m pretty sure Santana said everyone should sign up for Dot Net Membership or support us via Patreon, but I don’t speak Spanish, so I could be mistaken.
Santana spoke in English while saying he knew he had a target on his back and that Nic Nemeth and Frankie Kazarian hold the Call Your Shot trophy. Santana said anyone who steps to him better bring the same passion he does, or he will eat them alive.
Ryan Nemeth came out and said, “How dare you talk about my big brother?” Nemeth referred to Santana as “Mikey” as he entered the ring. Santana said he’d wipe the smile off his face if he called him by that name again. Ryan said his brother’s flight was delayed, but he would take the title off of Santana once he arrived faster than he could say Orlando sucks.
Santana said that when Ryan wants to stop chewing on his brother’s jockstrap, he could come speak to him like a man. Ryan tried to slap Santana, who caught his arm and held it while asking, “What are we doing?” Santana told Nemeth he would drop him where he stood if he didn’t shut up.
Santana said he was going to talk to Santino Marella about defending his title against the least deserving person on the roster. Santana told Ryan to say he understood, which he did. Santana said he would beat Ryan, and then he could go tell his brother that he didn’t get the job done because he’s a scrub. Santana exited the ring…
Hannifan and Rehwoldt spoke at their desk and hyped Santana and Steve Maclin vs. Nic Nemeth and Frankie Kazarian at Friday’s Turning Point special on TNA+. They also said Santana vs. Ryan Nemeth was official for later in the show, and plugged the Knockouts Title match…
Backstage, Gia Miller interviewed Knockouts Champion Kelani Jordan about her title match with Heather by Elegance that will take place later in the show, as well as her title match with M by Elegance at Turning Point. Jordan said she wished she were facing Ash by Elegance, because she was her mentor in NXT, but that can’t happen right now.
Mara Sade, Lei Ying Lee, and Xia Brookside walked onto the interview set. Sade told Jordan that they understand the pressure she is under. Sade said Jordan could come hang out in their locker room to get away from the pressure. Jordan said they wouldn’t understand pressure because none of them has been a champion.
Lee said something to Jordan. Brookside translated the line by saying, “She said you are acting like a real C-U-Next-Tuesday.” Jordan replied, “Wow, you know how to spell,” and then walked away…
The broadcast team hyped upcoming matches and segments heading into the first commercial break… [C]
Powell’s POV: Santana was cool and confident during his first promo since winning the TNA World Championship at Bound For Glory. Meanwhile, Jordan has found her groove as a heel. I’m surprised she’s facing fellow heels from the Elegance brand tonight and at Turning Point.
TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella was introduced by ring announcer McKenzie Mitchell. Santino introduced NXT General Manager Ava, who joined him on the stage. Ava said TNA and NXT put their differences aside at NXT Showdown and earned each other’s respect. Ava said she’s proud of how that show ended because they gave the wrestling world something they thought they would never see, and also something they would never forget.
Ava said there are more matches, more opportunities, and more unforgettable moments coming. Ava said that whether you’re Team NXT or Team TNA, she just asks that you keep watching. Ava said she couldn’t be at Impact every week, but she knew someone who could be.
Arianna Grace took the stage after being introduced by Ava. Grace, who wore a “Miss NXTNA” sash, hugged her father, Santino. Grace said she missed TNA and was there to make sure things remained civil. Santino asked the fans to cheer for both promotions, and then told them to enjoy the show…
Powell’s POV: There wasn’t much to that meeting of the minds. I guess they just wanted to get the authority figures on the show. I guess it’s safe to say that Ava won’t be appearing at the NXT live event that is taking place tonight in St. Paul, Minnesota.
A brief video aired for the NXT Gold Rush themed shows that will air the next two Tuesdays on The CW… Entrances for the opening match took place…
1. Indi Hartwell vs. Dani Luna. Luna placed Hartwell over the top rope and then clotheslined her to the mat and covered her for an early two count. The match spilled over to ringside, where Hartwell put Luna down with a spinebuster on the floor. Hartwell got Luna back inside the ring and then hit her with a top rope elbow to the back. Hartwell covered Luna for a two count.
Hartwell set up for her finisher, but Luna countered by sending Hartwell into the middle rope. Luna grabbed a chair from ringside and brought it back to the ring with her. Hartwell caught Luna in a small package for a two count. Hartwell picked up the chair and slammed it over Luna’s back for the DQ.
Dani Luna defeated Indi Hartwell by DQ in 6:10.
Hannifan said some of Hartwell’s frustration from Bound For Glory was spilling over. Luna ran to the back before she was named the winner by disqualification. Hartwell played to the cheering crowd…
Footage aired of Eric Young talking to fans outside the building while a masked man held up a “The Cleanse Is Coming” sign. Young gave the fans the same message while holding out flyers with that slogan and a QR code. Young told the fans that the truth is coming and is right around the corner…
Powell’s POV: Can we just get to the part where the cleanse occurs so that Young will stop droning on about it? Anyway, the match was fine before the weak finish. Luna has been doing really good work since she turned heel, so I’m happy she didn’t take a loss here.
Backstage, Indi Hartwell issued a challenge to Dani Luna for a No DQ match at Turning Point…
“The System” Moose, Eddie Edwards, Alisha Edwards, Brian Myers, and JDC made their entrance. Eddie put over Alisha’s performance in the Hardcore War at Bound For Glory. Eddie spoke about having family in the building, and said most importantly, their daughter was there. Moose also put over Alisha, saying she proved that she’s hardcore. He said they proved why you always trust The System.
JDC took the mic and got emotional while saying that he and Eddie grew up together, and their families were backstage at BFG. JDC said he got married two months ago. He said the other System members were there. JDC said Moose made a fool out of himself on the dance floor, and Tommy Dreamer wore a Ribera jacket to his wedding.
JDC said he spoke with his wife and they decided that he will retire from in-ring action after January’s Genesis pay-per-view. He said he wanted to make the announcement at Full Sail because “this place means the world to me.”
JDC said he was grateful for the last 27 years he spent in the business. He said he was grateful for WWE and TNA. He said he spent a lot of time being ungrateful, but the TNA locker room is the best he’s been in. JDC said he would help the others figure out who should take his spot.
The lights went out for a second, and then “The Rascalz” Trey Miguel, Myron Reed, and Zachary Wentz appeared on the stage. Miguel threw out the idea of the Rascalz facing The System. Moose said the problem is that there were four System members, but only three members of The Rascalz.
Wentz said it’s funny he said that because they just so happen to be in Orlando, and they just so happen to know “a must-see kid who lives over on the Wes Side.” Wentz acknowledged their relationship with this person hasn’t been great lately, but he said they talked it over and decided they are a family. JDC accepted the eight-man tag challenge…
Powell’s POV: So the tease was obviously for Wes Lee. Interestingly, Hannifan said he didn’t know if he could legally say the person’s name when Lee previously worked in TNA as Dezmond Xavier.
The sponsored injury report segment aired. Elijah was listed as being out after recovering from triceps surgery, but Hannifan said he’d be cleared soon. Hannifan said Alisha Edwards made a full recovery from BFG and was cleared to compete. He also said Leon Slater was cleared to compete and does so with a smile on his face. Hannifn said Mike Santana was cleared and in peak condition…
“Order 4” Mustfa Ali, Jason Hotch, John Skyler, Agent Zero, and Tasha Steelz were shown walking backstage. Ali told Hotch he was enlisting him to get Order 4 back on the campaign. Ali said great things would be in Hotch’s future if he beat Cedric Alexander.
TNA Tag Team Champions Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy were in the middle of a photo shoot. Ali acted like he didn’t know they were going to be there. Ali introduced Hotch and Skyler as the men who would beat them for the TNA Tag Team Titles. Steelz told the Hardys they should watch Hotch’s match with Alexander. Jeff said they’d be watching Cedric, their Carolina brother. Matt asked if they had a problem. “Matthew, we don’t have a problem; it’s you two that have a problem,” Ali said before walking away… [C]
A video package aired with Hannifan touting Full Sail University… Hannifan narrated footage from a “digital exclusive” of AJ Francis putting a YouTuber named BDE through a table…
Backstage, Gia Miller spoke with BDE, who will face Francis at Turning Point. BDE said he was grateful for the opportunity to prove he belongs in the ring, not just as a content creator or a streamer. Leon Slater showed up and apologized for not being there to help BDE.
Rich Swann interrupted and mocked BDE being an influencer stepping into the ring with Francis. Slater stood up for BDE, and he and Swann set up an X Division Title match for Turning Point…
[Hour Two] Entrances for the next match took place…
2. Cedric Alexander vs. Jason Hotch (w/Agent Zero, Tasha Steelz, John Skyler). Mustafa Ali sat in on commentary. Alexander hit an early Flatliner for a two count. A short time later, Hotch clotheslined Alexander over the top rope. Hotch rolled through the ropes and jumped into the air for a move, but Alexander hit him with a Lumbar Check on the way down and then pinned him.
Cedric Alexander beat Jason Hotch in 3:30.
After the match, Agent Zero entered the ring and put Alexander down with a tree slam. Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy made their entrance. Jeff slammed Skylar’s head on the mat. The Hardys entered the ring, ducked when Agent Zero went after them, and then clotheslined him over the top rope. Matt put Ali down with a Twist of Fate. Jeff went up top for a Swanton, but Zero and Skylar pulled Ali from the ring to save him…
Heather by Elegance, M by Elegance, and The Concierge were shown walking somewhere in the studio, and then a shot aired of Kelani Jordan walking elsewhere while Hannifan hyped the Knockouts Title match… [C]
A video package spotlighted new Knockout Ella Moore, who spoke about watching wrestling when she was in college. She said one of her friends passed away. Moore said she felt small, and then she watched the first all-women’s pay-per-view, and they all looked so powerful, and she wanted to become that.
Moore said she trained to become a wrestler at The Foundation in Orlando. She recalled flying herself to California for a TNA tryout match. She said she flew herself to Pittsburgh, “And that’s where everything happened.” Moore said her stomach dropped when she saw Jada Stone get signed before her. She said she wanted to cry when she was told that she was also being signed. Moore got arrogant as she questioned what took the company so long. She asked if anyone was better than her…
Rehwoldt said they would hear from Jada Stone next week. Hannifan hyped the Knockouts Title match and read through the tale of the tape…
3. Kelani Jordan vs. Heather by Elegance (w/The Concierge, M by Elegance) for the TNA Knockouts Championship. McKenzie Mitchell delivered in-ring introductions for the title match, and The Concierge took the mic and introduced Heather. Jordan dropkicked Heather, who rolled to ringside. Jordan kicked Heather from the apron heading into an early break. [C]
Late in the match, Heather performed a DDT that spiked Jordan on her head. Heather covered Jordan for a near fall. The Concierge distracted the referee and then Heather tried to run Jordan toward M, but Jordan reversed it. M wound up to throw a punch, but she stopped short when she noticed it was Heather. In a bizarre move, Heather fell to the mat as if she’d been hit, and then Jordan hit her One of a Kind finisher and got the three count…
Kelani Jordan defeated Heather by Elegance in 9:05 to retain the TNA Knockouts Championship.
Hannifan hyped the Elijah concert for after the break… [C]
Powell’s POV: Wow, that was one botched finish. I suspect that M was supposed to hit Heather to put her in position for Jordan’s finisher, but that’s just a guess.
TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champion “The IInspiration” Cassie Lee and Jessie McKay delivered a brief promo in an echoey room. Tessa Blanchard and Victoria Crawford spoke elsewhere about taking the tag titles. Xia Brookside and Lei Ying Lee also spoke in another area about winning the tag team titles…
Elijah was introduced by a man who didn’t appear on-camera. Elijah stood in the ring and played one guitar, and had two additional guitars in the ring, along with his amp. Elijah showed off his surgical scar from his triceps tear. He said tomorrow is never promised in wrestling, and you need to do what you have to do to get to the top. He said he was going to do that. Elijah played another song.
Mustafa Ali interrupted Elijah’s song. Ali yelled while challenging the Hardys and Cedric Alexander to face him and the Order 4 members at Turning Point. Elijah cut off Ali, who had entered the ring, and took issue with him for interrupting the concert. Elijah challenged Ali to a match. Ali slammed a microphone over Elijah’s head.
Ali grabbed one of the guitars and slammed it over Elijah’s surgically repaired left arm. Believe it or not, a “holy shit” chant actually broke out. Trainers tended to Elijah as he stayed down and sold his arm…
Hannifan hyped the main event for after the break… [C] The broadcast team ran through the lineup for Friday’s Turning Point. They added Matt Hardy, Jeff Hardy, and Cedric Alexander vs. Mustafa Ali, Jason Hotch, and John Skyler to the TNA+ card… Entrances for the main event took place… [C]
4. Mike Santana vs. Ryan Nemeth for the TNA World Championship. Nemeth attacked Santana, who battled back quickly. Roughly 30 seconds into the match, Nic Nemeth’s entrance music played. The camera showed Nic walking backstage, and then he was attacked by a masked man.
Brooks Jensen, Lexis King, Charlie Dempsey, Tyson Dupont, Tyriek Igwe, Stacks, entered the ring and attacked Santana while Robert Stone directed traffic to end the match.
Mike Santana fought Ryan Nemeth to a no-contest in a TNA World Championship match.
Steve Maclin and Home Town Man ran out separately to help, but they were outnumbered. The Rascalz ran out, but they were beaten down by the NXT crew. Dempsey took Santana down and wrenched on his right arm, which Rehwoldt noted is the arm that Santana uses to throw his Spin The Block finisher. Jensen wrapped a chair around Santana’s arm, and then Stone stomped on it. Hannifan said the NXT stars ruined the TNA Championship match. The NXT wrestlers left the ring while four referees checked on Santana, who continued to sell his right arm.
Frankie Kazarian’s entrance music played, and he came out with the Call Your Shot trophy. Kazarian informed the referee that he was cashing in. The referee wasn’t happy, but Kazarian insisted, and the referee called for the bell.
5. Mike Santana vs. Frankie Kazarian for the TNA World Championship. Santana charged at Kazarian, who hit him with his Fade to Black finisher. Kazarian covered Santana for a near fall. Kazarian grabbed Santana from behind for a chicken wing, but Santana backed him into the corner to break it. Santana caught Kazarian with a big boot and then wound up for Spin The Block, but he sold arm pain. Kazarian rolled up Santana and got the three count.
Frankie Kazarian defeated Mike Santana in 0:55 to win the TNA World Championship.
Powell’s POV: It was a questionable move when Santana was booked to come up short of winning the TNA World Championship in his home state at Slammiversary. The fans stuck with him, and it felt like he was in a great place when he won the title at Bound For Glory. But now he loses the championship on the company’s first show back because a bunch of NXT undercard wrestlers attacked him, and Kazarian cashed in? What a shit show. This isn’t the type of angle that puts mega heat on Kazarian or the NXT wrestlers. Rather, it frustrates fans who have invested in Santana and stuck with him only to have the company pull the rug out again.
TNA returned from a post-Bound For Glory hiatus with a forgettable live edition of Impact until the final angle. This show didn’t look good on paper, but I held out hope that the company would make the most out of having a rare live episode. Rather, Impact was filled with brief, forgettable matches and was nothing more than a bad infomercial for Turning Point until the closing minutes. I thought it was weird that TNA took a hiatus after their biggest show of the year, and now I wish they had extended it. I will be back later tonight or on Friday morning with my weekly review of Impact for Dot Net Members (including our Patreon patrons).

Because Santana sucks. Lousy draw.
I’ll play along. So why did they put the belt on him in the first place? And what makes Frankie a better draw?
Experimental for reaction. TNA hates the reactions and numbers . TNA then decides it’s Transitional title status time for Santana. At least they tried it?
The reactions from all those fans at the shows they didn’t hold after BFG? The online reaction was positive.
I think the execs and TKO execs monitoring situation did not like Santana as a champion. Expectations just were not met. Someone backstage said “Santana, transitional champ!”
Also Jason, this is the same company that ruin Joe Hendry momentum. You can’t be surprised by these moves.
