The following matches and segments were taped on August 15 in Winter Park, Florida at Full Sail University for tonight’s NXT television show.
-Johnny Gargano came out and received a few minutes of “Johnny Wrestling” chants. He was about to indicate what his future plans, but Shane Thorne interrupted him. Thorne said NXT will be just fine without Gargano and told him to take a bow and leave. Gargano said he’s NXT and he’s not going anywhere, then superkicked Thorne.
-Pete Dunne beat Angel Garza.
-Cameron Grimes defeated Raul Mendoza.
-NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler defeated Rhea Ripley by DQ in a non-title match. Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir interfered, which led to Ripley using a chair for the DQ.
