A “Best WWE Moment” category has been added to the annual ESPY Awards. The nominees for the award are Roman Reigns returning to Raw to announce his leukemia is in remission, Becky Lynch winning the Raw and Smackdown Women’s Championships at WrestleMania, Kofi Kingston winning the WWE Championship at WrestleMania, and Ronda Rousey beating Alexa Bliss at SummerSlam to win the Raw Women’s Championship. Powell’s POV: The awards show will be broadcast live on ABC on Wednesday, July 10 from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. Comedian Tracy Morgan is hosting the event. I assume the new WWE category means WWE will have a strong presence at the ESPYs.
For the first time ever at this year’s @ESPYS, #WWE will have its own category when the award for Best WWE Moment of the year is handed out! See the nominees & VOTE, here: https://t.co/dEpTRdu2JN pic.twitter.com/KIjmGl6R8l
