CM Punk took an obvious shot at Colt Cabana via social media on Monday. Comedian Ron Funchess wrote on social that he wanted to have Punk on his podcast until he remembered what happened the last time the former WWE star was on a podcast. Punk responded: “Promise not to sue me for being a good friend (then sign a legally binding agreement that you’re not a greedy steaming pile of ungrateful snake shit) and I’ll consider it.”
Powell’s POV: Cabana is suing Punk for not covering all of his legal fees that stemmed from the defamation lawsuit that WWE physician Chris Amann filed against both men over comments that Punk made on Cabana’s podcast. While a jury ruled in favor of Punk and Cabana in the Amann lawsuit, Cabana’s $1.2 million lawsuit against Punk remains active.
Promise not to sue me for being a good friend (then sign a legally binding agreement that you’re not a greedy steaming pile of ungrateful snake shit) and I’ll consider it.
