Gursinder Singh announced Wednesday that he has asked Impact Wrestling for his contractual release. Singh thanked Impact officials and Gama Singh for his time with the company. “It’s time to work harder than I ever have before and to continue to evolve as I reach towards the next step,” Singh wrote on social media “Keep an eye out because nothing is going to stand in my way until I get to where I belong.”
Powell’s POV: Singh teamed with Rohit Raju as the Desi Hit Squad. Perhaps it was simply an oversight, but Singh did not include Raju on the list of people he thanked. Raju did wish Singh the best of luck on his social media page. Singh and Raju were a solid team that was positioned as an undercard enhancement act and they weren’t given much of a chance to get over as being more than that.
