AXS TV will be streaming a press conference on Wednesday at 1CT and is teasing a “major announcement” regarding the WOW – Women of Wrestling television series. The event will be streamed live on the AXS TV Fights’ YouTube channel and Facebook page. WOW’s Jeanie Buss and David McLane, and AXS TV’s Andrew Simon will be part of the press conference, which will be hosted by Gabby Loren.
Powell’s POV: While nothing is official, I assume the press conference will be related to AXS TV picking up more episodes of the WOW series. The network started with an eight episode commitment, and the last of those original eight shows filmed back in October is scheduled to air Friday night on AXS TV. I will pass along notables from the press conference along with a live stream of the event on Wednesday.
