The following matches are advertised for the WWE Royal Rumble, which will be held on January 27 in Phoenix, Arizona at Chase Field.
-Brock Lesnar vs. Braun Strowman for the WWE Championship.
-Daniel Bryan vs. AJ Styles for the WWE Championship.
-The 30-Man Royal Rumble (Entrants: Drew McIntyre, Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods, 30th entrant R-Truth).
-The 30-Woman Royal Rumble (Entrants: Natalya, Bayley, Sasha Banks, Ember Moon, Ruby Riott, Sarah Logan, Liv Morgan 30th entrant Carmella).
-Buddy Murphy defends the WWE Cruiserweight Championship in a four-way.
Powell’s POV: Styles won a five-way match to earn the title shot on Smackdown, and New Day also announced their Rumble entry during the show. R-Truth and Carmella won the Mixed Match Challenge to earn the No. 30 spots in their respective Rumble matches. Two of Murphy’s challengers will be determined on tonight’s WWE 205 Live show (check the spoilers on the main page).
