Glenn “Kane” Jacobs wins Republican nomination for mayor in a tight race

WWE star Glenn Jacobs, who wrestles as Kane, won the primary to determine the Republican nominee for Mayor of Knox County, Tennessee on Tuesday. Jacobs won by just 17 votes, according to Knoxnews.com.

Powell’s POV: Jacobs was trailing late in the race by roughly 100 votes when I checked earlier tonight, but he came back strong and won by that narrow margin. It’s close enough that there will likely be a recount. The general election will be held in August.
