Daniel Bryan announced on Tuesday’s WWE Smackdown Live that AJ Styles will defend the WWE Championship against Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn in a handicap match.
Powell’s POV: Bryan didn’t explain how the match would work in terms of who will be named the actual champion if the heel duo end up winning. However, the match was announced at the end of the show, so I’m sure they’ll get around that either on the WWE website this week or on next week’s television show.
