-TNA Impact Wrestling carries the Turning Point pay-per-view theme is headlined by EC3 vs. Drew Galloway for the TNA Title shot against Lashley at Bound For Glory. Aron Rex will be the special referee for the match. Impact airs 7CT/8ET time slot on Pop TV. I will not be able to cover Impact live for the time being. However, John Moore’s review of the show will be available later tonight or on Friday.

-NXT is taping television tonight in Winter Park, Florida at Full Sail University. The footage from this taping will begin airing on Wednesday.

-WWE will tape additional Cruiserweight Classic matches on Friday in Winter Park, Florida at Full Sail University. The finals of the tournament will air live next month, so this is the final taping.

-NXT is in Citrus Springs, Florida at Citrus Springs on Friday. WWE stopped advertising talent on their live events page for their NXT B-show live events in Florida.

-NXT is in Jacksonville, Florida at Maxwell Snyder Armory on Friday.

Birthdays and Notables

-Ivan Koloff (a/k/a Oreal Perras) is 74 today.

-David Young is 44 today.

-Edward White, who wrested as Moodog King, died on August 25, 2005 at age 56. He was hospitalized a year earlier from a taxi accident and remained on life support until his death.

-Michael Lockwood, who worked as Crash Holly, was born on August 25, 1971. He took his own life on November 6, 2003.
