imgresWWE performer Paul Heyman was interviewed by the Awful Announcing website’s Matt Yoder and was asked to name the most underrated wrestler he’s worked with. “This will sound like a lot of hype but my answer is Brock Lesnar and I’ll actually justify that,” Heyman said. “When people say the greatest in-ring performer of all-time is Ric Flair, or some people say the greatest in-ring performer of all-time is Shawn Michaels, I do not agree with them. I don’t think they bring the legitimacy Brock Lesnar brings, I don’t think they’re able to do the things Brock Lesnar is able to do. I think Brock Lesnar is the most underrated, under-appreciated performer in the history of WWE, pro wrestling, or sports entertainment.

“I don’t think people understand the level of performance he brings, I don’t think people understand just how great Brock Lesnar is. I think we’re only scratching the surface in demonstrating what his abilities are. I think Brock Lesnar can do anything. I think Brock Lesnar can just stand there and make people mesmerized by his presence as evidenced by the fact that most of the time we’re on television that’s what he does – he just has to stand there! And people are in awe of him.”

Heyman also revealed what happened to his mobile phone from run as Paul E. Dangerously. “My children have inherited my mobile phone from the Paul E. Dangerously days just in case I ever decide to invest myself in a project so deeply that I drive myself into bankruptcy,” Heyman said. “My children will have an asset they can sell on ebay.” Read the full interview at AwfulAnnouncing.com.

Powell’s POV: Heyman also claimed that he works 22 hours per day. Is the catch that he didn’t say how many days per week he actually works? Heyman addressed his new deal with Yahoo Sports, the german suplex, and what he feels he has left to accomplish.

  1. You can tell Paul has been with the WWE a long time as he doesn’t use pronouns. Lol
