Chris Jericho comments on NXT television running opposite AEW on TNT

Chris Jericho took to social media to comment on the announcement of NXT moving to USA Network and running in the same time slot opposite AEW on TNT. “Runners always race faster when somebody is right behind them,” Jericho wrote. “Gonna be fun to see which team the world decides to join!”

Powell’s POV: I like Jericho’s approach in terms of acknowledging the obvious and not doing any public complaining about NXT running opposite his company’s weekly television show. The AEW crew can’t thrilled with this development, but they had to know it was a strong possibility given WWE’s track record.
