Hulk Hogan teased that he may appear at the WWE Crown Jewel event and WrestleMania during an interview with Jay Reddick of the Orlando Sentinel. “There are a lot of plans in the works,” Hogan said. “I’m looking forward to going to Saudi Arabia with the WWE, looking forward to WrestleMania — but yeah, we’re moving forward at a rapid pace. It’s exciting to have this opportunity again after all these years where I was there and gone.” Read the full story at OrlandoSentinel.com.
Powell’s POV: Hogan did not specifically mention Crown Jewel in his quote, though Reddick prefaced it by mentioning a possible Crown Jewel appearance. WWE has a ten-year agreement to run events in Saudi Arabia and the word is that the Saudi forces behind the show are big on the legends. I reached out to WWE for comment on Hogan’s status for the November 2 event and have not received a response as of this update.
