The following matches were taped on July 18 in Winter Park, Florida at Full Sail University for tonight’s NXT television show.
-Street Profits defeated The Mighty.
-Kairi Sane beat Aliyah.
-Tyler Bate over Roderick Strong.
-Velveteen Dream cut a promo on EC3 and told the crowd he doesn’t bother them at Burger King so they should stop interrupting. The crowd chants Burger King, Dream tells them he knows Full Sail is used to having it their way, but it’s The Dream’s time now. EC3 vs. Velveteen Dream is official for NXT Takeover: Brooklyn.
Powell’s POV: The show will deliver final hype for Saturday’s NXT Takeover: Brooklyn event. It will be interesting to see how they incorporate the Aleister Black injury angle and whether there’s a followup to it on this show. Join John Moore for live coverage of NXT as the show streams on WWE Network tonight at 7CT/8ET. John’s audio review will be available for Dot Net Members on Thursday. Plus, join John for live coverage of NXT Takeover: Brooklyn on Saturday night. Dot Net Members will hear my audio review after the show.
