Dustin “Goldust” Runnels underwent surgery on both knees on Tuesday in Birmingham, Alabama. WWE.com reports that the surgery was successful and that Runnels is expected to make a full recovery.
Powell’s POV: The WWE story doesn’t indicate what type of procedures he had done or how long he will be sidelined. At age 49, you have to wonder how much longer Dustin will continue to wrestle. He still works at a high level and has not given any public indication that that he intends to hang up the boots soon. Here’s wishing him the best in his recovery and a speedy return to the ring.
