WWE has announced that Jeff Jarrett will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. The ceremony will be held on Friday, April 6 in New Orleans, Louisiana at Smoothie King Center.
Powell’s POV: The announcement of Jarrett entering the WWE Hall of Fame despite his up and down history with the company will generate some buzz. I find him to be a worthy entrant given this history both with the company and outside of it. Congratulations to Jarrett for the recognition. He joins an impressive class that includes Bill Goldberg, The Dudley Boyz, and Ivory.

This is an overpowered HoF this year. Considering next year will probably be the Brothers of Destruction it’s better to get as many in this year or they’ll end up like poor Mick Foley and be overshadowed.
I’m genuinely shocked by this happening right now. With Jarrett’s alcohol issues in the last year, and the problems with TNA/GFW, I didn’t think they’d touch him until he got his mess together.
Jarrett went to rehab. I assume it was WWE sponsored rehab on top of it. If so and he remained in their program, then they have a good idea of how he is doing. Not surprised by this in the least. Even predicted it in Q&A a while back.
Let’s hope this doesn’t turn into some wacko time paradox where they sign Karen Jarrett and make her a GM like a new Vickie Guerrero or something! Aaahhh!!
