Matt Hardy and Impact Wrestling executive Ed Nordholm posed for a photo together at an undisclosed airport. Hardy ran the photo on his Twitter page and dubbed Nordholm and “The Owl of Anthem” as “majestic beings who stand on the side of the light.” Follow Hardy online at Twitter.com/MATTHARDYBRAND.
Powell’s POV: Hardy and Nordholm clashed over the rights to the “Broken Universe” when Matt and brother Jeff left Impact Wrestling. Nordholm has since not only agreed to allow the Hardys to take ownership of the gimmick, but Impact has announced that they intend to allow all of their wrestlers to take their characters with them whenever they leave the company. It’s a shame that Nordholm didn’t come to their senses sooner when it came to the Hardy situation, but the make good is certainly encouraging for Impact Wrestling’s current talent.
I am thrilled to PROCLAIM that we have ACQUIRED new ALLIES on our side of #TheGreatWar. Ed Nordholm & The Owl of Anthem have revealed themselves as MAJESTIC beings who stand on the side of the LIGHT.
The LIGHT always EMERGES, #WOKENWarriors.
