Dot Net reader Marq Manner attended Monday’s WWE Raw in Omaha, Nebraska and sent the following report on the WWE Main Event television taping.
1. Lince Dorado and Mustafa Ali beat TJ P and The Brian Kendrick. There was a light Ali chant, and the crowd filling in was polite and reacted to high spots. First time seeing this rebooted division. Entertaining.
2. Elias beat Kalisto. Elias came out to big heat. He sang “there ain’t nothing cool about Omaha” and I couldn’t hear anything after that as he got drowned in boos. The Omaha crowd might be better than usual. Kalisto came out to decent reaction. He got in a lot of cool spots and got a “Lucha” chant for his efforts. Kalisto continued to dominate for much of the match including multiple near falls. Elias finished him off quickly in end.
