Dark match: Vinny Marseglia (w/Matt Taven) pinned Shaheem Ali with a Swanton Bomb.
Ian Riccaboni and Colt Cabana came out to do commentary.
1. Jay Lethal pinned Beer City Bruiser. BCB got pretty much the opposite reaction from the hot crowd than he got the previous night in Milwaukee. Lethal managed to suplex BCB after 5 tries. Lethal hit a superkick and the Lethal Injection to win.
2. War Machine beat Rhett Titus and Shane Taylor. The Rebellions members almost got the win after Titus leaped off Taylor’s shoulders with a frog splash onto Ray Rowe, after which Taylor hit a splash of his own for a near fall. Hanson later hit a suicide dive on Taylor leaving Titus to be hit with the Fallout for the win.
3. Matt Taven pinned Adam Cole. Great match between the two former Kingdom members. Cole went for The Last Shot early, but Taven threw him shoulder-first into the ring post. Cole later worked over Taven’s bad left knee. Cole and Taven exchanged superkicks and Taven hit The Last Shot to Cole on his bad knee. Cole countered a Taven frog splash and rolled up Taven with a small package, but Taven reversed it for the win. Cole soaked up the crowd’s appreciation and gave them a “Too Sweet.”
4. ROH TV champion Marty Scurll beat Ken Anderson. Anderson and Scurll had dueling ring introductions ending with Scurll saying, “Welcome to Ring Of Honor, bitch!” and belting Anderson with the mic. Both men tried to outfox the other by cheating with a chair. Anderson accidentally hit the ref and downed Scurll with the Green Bay Plunge and the Mic Check for a near fall. Scurll later tried to hit Anderson with his umbrella but ended up kicking Ken low and small packaged him to win. Afterward, Scurll praised Anderson and said, “It takes an asshole to know an asshole.” Scurll had the crowd in his hands the whole match and was wildly cheered. Very entertaining stuff from the intros to the post-match.
Intermission
5. Cheeseburger and Will Ferrara beat The Carnies. Pretty short match. Cool spot where the Carnies caused Cheeseburger to hit a flip piledriver on his own partner,Ferrara. Ferrara rallied to hit a hammerlock lariat on one of the Carnies to win. Crowd loved Cheeseburger.
6. Jay White pinned Punishment Martinez. A lot of striking in this match. White hit an impressive deadlift German suplex and a uranage. Martinez tried hit South Of Heaven but White rolled him up to win. Martinez attacked White after the bell, delivered South Of Heaven and a Curb Stomp.
7. Jay Briscoe and Mark Briscoe defeated The Motor City Machine Guns. This was billed as the deciding match between the two teams that dated back 10 years in Chicago. The teams spilled out to the floor early on. Mark and Chris Sabin battled into the bleachers and onto a small stage where Mark hit a moonsault onto Sabin. Later, the Guns avoided the Doomsday Device and the Briscoes avoided the Super Sliced Bread #2. Eventually, Jay nailed Sabin with the Jay Driller and Mark hit the Froggy Bow for the win. Incredible chemistry between these teams.
8. Bully Ray pinned Silas Young in a no DQ match. Young got in Bully’s face before the match and Bully agreed to a no DQ match. Young hit Bully with a chair and attacked Bully with his own chain. Later, Bully used referee Paul Turner to hold Young’s legs for the Whassup? spot. Beer City Bruiser came out to help Young which brought out Jay Lethal to even the odds. Bully hit Young with the Bubba Bomb for the win.
9. Christopher Daniels, Frankie Kazarian, and Dalton Castle beat Hangman Page and The Young Bucks. Late in the match,Page set up Frankie Kazarian for the Rite Of Passage but the Bucks accidentally superkicked him into a Kaz powerbomb. Later, with Castle and the Bucks outside the ring, Kaz and Christopher Daniels combined to hit Page with the Best Meltzer Driver Ever for the win.
A sold out and hot crowd here tonight.
