Bruce Prichard will have an on-air role for TNA Impact Wrestling. Prowrestling.net has learned that either side could pull out of the agreement after with 30 days notice. The goal of the deal is said to be cross promotion between Impact Wrestling and the Something To Wrestling With Bruce Prichard podcast.
Powell’s POV: While the ProwrestlingSheet.com report we credited earlier stated that Prichard will be working behind the scenes, I have been told that Prichard will only have an on-air role, though perhaps that could change. Prichard and podcast co-host Conrad Thompson have joked a few times about their download count eclipsing the viewership count that the Impact Wrestling show has delivered on Pop TV. They dedicated two episodes to Prichard’s previous run with the company in which he pulled no punches about what it was like working for Dixie Carter and with other members of the company’s previous management regime.
