NXT Live Event
St. Augustine, Florida at Mark Lance Armory
Report by Dot Net reader Jeff Adkins

1. Mustafa Ali defeated Ariya Daivari. Solid match. NXT house shows have been showcasing 205 talent as of late.

2. Steve Cutler over Adrian Jaude. Cutler promos have been getting a ton of heat using his military background and calling people in the crowd cowards. He’s been a solid heel as of late.

3. Daria Berenato beat Kimber Lee. This was my first time seeing Kimber Lee in the ring. Decent match but Daria still not solid enough to carry a match yet.

Dan Matha promo. Big heel. Not a great promo. He’s still very green.

4. Aleister Black (Tommy End) defeated Elias Samson. They work well together. A solid match with both guys over with the crowd.

5. Kassius Ohno defeated Patrick Clark. Ohno is very agile with big frame and Clark has settled in with his “Prince” gimmick. Good match. The crowd really popped for Ohno.

6. NXT Tag Champions Authors of Pain over Otis and Tucker. Authors of Pain have a new swagger and Otis and Tucker are becoming the family crowd favorites. AOP get the clean win.

7. Liv Morgan defeated Mandy Rose. Liv is way over with the crowd but still is so hot or miss on match quality. Mandy Rose is solid in the ring and a good heel. Just an okay match.

8. Angelo Dawkins, Montez Ford, and Tye Dillinger defeated Sanity (w/Nikki Cross). A good match. I love Eric Young’s gimmick. Nikki Cross is the real star of the group. Montez Ford and his red cup dance is also a crowd favorite. After the match, Dillinger announced one of the referees (Dan) is going to Smackdown. Scotty 2 Hotty came out and did the worm to celebrate.

A decent show but not as star studded as the recent house shows have been.
