-It’s a rare weekend with no WWE or NXT live events, presumably due to it being a holiday weekend in the United States. The WWE crew will be in Kansas City, Missouri for Raw on Labor Day Monday, and the Smackdown Live show will be in Lincoln, Nebraska on Tuesday. The overseas tour begins on Wednesday, September 7 in London, England at the O2 Arena.
-The annual Pro Wrestling Guerrilla Battle of Los Angeles tournament begins tonight and runs through Sunday in Reseda, California at the American Legion with the following notable participants: Cody Rhodes, Dalton Castle, Sami Callihan, John Hennigan, Chris Hero, Zack Sabre Jr., Will Ospreay, Pentagon Jr. and Jushin Liger (just to name a few). This is the biggest annual tournament and this year’s event is the most loaded yet. We’ll have a full list of talent later today.
-We are looking for correspondents for the PWG Battle of Los Angeles. If you are attending a show and want to help, send your report (or basic results) to dotnetjason@gmail.com
-Evolve’s next dates are September 10 in Long Island, New York at the NYWC Sportatorium, and September 11 in Queens, New York at La Boom.
-Ring of Honor’s next events are September 16 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and September 18 in Lockport, New York.
