AEW Dynamite rating for the Winter Is Coming edition

By Jason Powell, ProWrestling.net Editor (@prowrestlingnet)

Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite television show averaged 594,000 viewers for TBS, according to ProgrammingInsider.com. The viewership count was up from the 586,000 viewership total for last Wednesday’s show.

Powell’s POV: Dynamite finished with a 0.17 rating in 18-49 demo, equal to last Wednesday’s 0.17 rating in the same demo. Tuesday’s NXT on The CW drew 680,000 viewers and a 0.17 rating in the 18-49 demo. One year ago, the December 13, 2023 edition of Dynamite on TBS delivered 845,000 viewers and a 0.30 rating in the 18-49 demographic for the Winter is Coming edition.

  1. Nobody wants to watch a bunch of tournament matches for a belt that doesn’t matter. This shit killed ratings last year and it’s doing it again.

    • Well the viewership was up though

      • Down 300k year over year. It was “up” to what used to be Rampage and Collision numbers. It’s well below the trend line. It was “up” in the sense of a small bump that’s statistically insignificant by any quantitative analysis.

      • NXT saw a 12.8% jump from last week to this one, suggesting that Thanksgiving did have an effect on viewership.

AEW saw a 1.2% jump which with the numbers they got could literally be anything from the overrun getting a few more households to tune in to a slight increase in the lead in from BBT.

  2. They really need a baby face to catch fire.
