By John Moore, ProWrestling.net Staffer (@liljohnm)

NXT TV
Orlando, Florida, at the WWE Performance Center
Aired live February 10, 2026, on The CW Network

[Hour One] Highlights from last week’s NXT episode aired…

Vic Joseph and Booker T were on commentary. Mike Rome was the ring announcer…

“Say his name and he appears! I believe in Joe Hendry! Clap Clap!”. New NXT Champion Joe Hendry made his entrance. Hendry hyped up the crowd as the new champion. He thanked the crowd for believing in Joe Hendry. He talked about how the crowd carried him to becoming the new NXT Champion. He said the climb to the title happened way before the ladder match. He said one step was becoming an amateur wrestling champion, one step was becoming TNA champion, one step was facing Randy Orton at WrestleMania.

Hendry said we are just getting started. Hendry said “We are NXT, and we are taking NXT to new heights”. The Vanity Project trio of Jackson Drake, Ricky Smokes, and Brad Baylor interrupted. Drake introduced himself as the WWE Evolve Champion. Drake said that Hendry is mid at best. Drake said Joe can go viral by singing songs, while he goes viral by looking good and doing amazing things in the ring. The crowd showered Drake with “Shut the hell up” chants.

Joe talked about Vanity Project failing in their attack a few weeks ago. Drake said maybe they should take Ethan Page’s advice and finish the job by taking Hendry out. Hendry said he has no problem kicking Drake’s ass and defending the NXT championship. Vanity Project tried to jump Hendry, but Hendry had the upper hand. Vanity Project got the upper hand after Drake gave Hendry a Chop Block. Drake hit Hendry with a Knee Plus to leave him lying. Drake mocked Hendry’s Zoolander turn and posed with the NXT title to end the segment…

John’s Thoughts: A decent promo to set Joe Hendry up against Vanity Project as his first challengers as Champion, particularly Jackson Drake. They did sneak some of Hendry’s amateur wrestling background in his promo, which was a good ethos added when he was going after the TNA title, but it would have helped if they gave him the ethos on his way to winning the title other than him just being the meme guy. Jackson Drake looked solid in this segment, but a little bit of exposition for him would help too.

Sol Ruca and Zaria were chatting backstage. Sol apologized for the accidental Sol Snatcher  and wanted to get on the same page. Zaria kept saying it needs to be her time sometime. Zaria said ultimately they need to stay out of each other’s way…

Jaida Parker was walking backstage cutting a promo on her upcoming match against Blake Monroe. Jaida Parker made her entrance…[c]

Vic Joseph hyped WrestleMania weekend live events…

Interim GM Robert Stone was chatting with Keanu Carver. Carver wondered why Drake was getting a shot before him. Stone said Drake asked for a shot first and HBK wants chaos so he’s getting the shot. Carver said he’ll create some chaos. Stone tried to stop Carver, but then let him leave…

Blake Monroe made her entrance…

1. Blake Monroe vs. Jaida Parker. Blake hit Jaida with a front kick and then pummeled Parker in the corner. Parker came back with a whip and German Suplex. Parker countered a rollup with a body scissors. Monroe broke the hold with a rope break. Blake came back with a Thesz Press. Both women brawled to ringside heading into break.[c]

Monroe was mocking Jaida’s high step. Jaida came back with a back elbow. Monroe hit Jaida with a Handstand Frankensteiner and a dropkick. Jaida caught a kick and gave Monroe a back elbow combination. Jaida hit Monroe with a Samoan Drop. Monroe tried to slip away, but got caught by Jaida’s draping Banzai Drop. Parker tossed Monroe into the steel steps. Both women brawled at ringside to a countout.

Blake Monroe vs. Jaida Parker ended in a double countout in 8:59.

Jaida got the upper hand before security ran out. Jaida went for Hip-notic, but she accidentally hit a referee. Monroe ran through the crowd, while Jaida beat up random referees and security. Jaida sent one guard through the barricade…

A stylistic vignette aired for Tatum Paxley where she talked about feeling drowned by Izzi Dame. The vignette had Tatum in somewhat of a sunken place, surrounded by thorns. She talked about wanting to become what she was meant to be…

Josh Briggs vs. Eli Knight was hyped for after the break…[c]

Vic Joseph hyped WWE’s podcast lineup…

Kale Dixon berated Uriah Connors for turning his back on Chase University. Connors said Andre Chase just held him back. Stacks, Grace, and King showed up and had Uriah’s back. Kale walked off. Connors said he wanted to separate himself from his father, but he can’t hide from being born in the business. King said there is one missing piece to the puzzle now…

Vic Joseph and Booker T checked in on commentary. A random dude in a gas mask appeared behind them and apparently this was a plug for a movie…

Eli Knight and Elio LeFleur faced off after the match. Jasper Troy showed up and hit LeFleur with a Black Hole Slam. Troy chokeslammed Knight on LeFleur…

DarkState were shown walking backstage…[c]

John’s Thoughts: They’re doing nothing to protect Briggs at this point, which is a bit of a shame. Eli Knight is someone to look out for as they haven’t showcased him in terms of minutes, but for whatever minutes he does get on TV he impresses. Very athletic prospect and someone to look out for as a future sensation in the brand.

Robert Stone congratulated Lola Vice backstage on winning the AAA Mix Tagged Championships. Stone said that Vice has a match booked against Kelani Jordan next week, but it can be pushed back due to Vice sporting an injury. Vice insisted that she can fight through the injury. Stone was dragged away due to commotion. Kelani Jordan showed up and jumped Vice. Jordan kicked Vice’s hand in a drawer to injure it. The show then cut to Stone running into a room where Keanu Carver laid out a bunch of NXT roster members…

DarkState were in the ring cutting a promo about how they need to be at the top of NXT. Cutler James talked about how Tony D’Angelo is coming after them, but that won’t mean anything because they are on top while Tony D has no family. James talked about how DarkState made their name in NXT by taking out a pillar in NXT like Tony D. Osiris and Saquon talked about how Shawn Spears and Niko Vance stand no chance against them.

Spears and Niko appeared on the Crow’s Nest. Spears said they are smart and will not run into a four on two situation. Spears said they plan and conquer later. Vance said they prey on weakness. The lights went out and the DarkState light show happened. Bronco Nima appeared in the crowd and said they are going to take a page out of DarkState’s playbook. Nima said they should be champions, if not for Vanity Project. Licien Price said Vance and Spears can wait, because OTM ain’t missing twice.

Hank Walker and Tank Ledger made their entrance to talk about how they are coming after the tag team titles. Hank and Tank, OTM, and Osiris and Saquon brawled to the back. Tony D’Angelo showed up and laid out James and Lennox with Spinebusters…

Joe Hendry was shown walking backstage…[c]

John’s Thoughts: A standard interruption segment to set up the tag team title picture, while also continuing Tony D being the new DarkState hunter. It would be good if we got a few character development pre-tapes to flush out a few of these teams. Hank and Tank are fine, but Vance and Spears are just the guys who stand in the corner during Izzi Dame matches, while OTM haven’t gotten a lot of development since they debuted a long long time ago.

[Hour Two] Kelly Kincaid interviewed Robert Stone. Stone booked Hank and Tank vs. OTM vs. Culling for a future shot at the tag team titles. Stone then walked over to Shiloh Hill who was randomly wearing a hockey match and holding a machete. Ethan Page showed up and said he needs words with Stone. Hill left. Page said he wants a new challenger so he can continue his historic reign. Hill walked back in the room to pick up his machete, which led to Stone booking Page vs. Hill for the North American Title…

Mike Rome handled the formal in-ring championship match introductions…

Joe worked on Drake with headlocks. Joe got a two count after a body slam.

Joe Hendry escaped a cravate and hit Drake with a neckbreaker. Joe rallied with right hands. Joe turned Drake inside out with a clothesline, followed up with his signature Fallaway Slam. Joe hit Drake with an Angle Slam for a two count. Drake got a two count after a victory roll and Bridged German Suplex. Drake hit Joe with a Knee Plus for a two count.

Joe reversed a Huracanrana into a Power Bomb. Joe hit Drake with a Standing Ovation for the victory.

Joe Hendry defeated Jackson Drake via pinfall in 11:13 to retain the NXT Championship.

A hooded man attacked Joe Hendry after the match. The man took off the hood to reveal Ricky Saints. Saints slammed Joe on the NXT title. Saints then posed with the NXT championship before laying it on Joe’s body…

John’s Thoughts: Good showcase for Hendry. Not too fond of defining down Jackson Drake in one of his first matches as a full time roster member of NXT, but he’s young enough to bounce back. Only 22 years old. Interested to see how they handle the Ricky Saints vs. Joe Hendry feud. As I mentioned last week, I would have had the feud be the other way around with Hendry chasing Ricky. Hendry as proven in TNA that he is great in chase mode, while Ricky has been a strong heel over the years. Curious as to why WWE went the other direction with Ricky being in the chase?

Wren Sinclair and Kendal Grey were chatting backstage about their upcoming match…

Hank and Tank made their entrance…[c]

DarkState were arguing backstage about getting jumped by multiple groups. Cutler volunteered to take down Tony D’Angelo…

Tank brought in Hank for the hot tag. Hank hit Baylor with a flying shoulder tackle. Hank hit Smokes with a Bossman Slam for a two count. Hank tossed Smokes and hit him with a Wheelbarrow Slam. Baylor broke up Hank’s pin. Baylor hit Hank with a dropkick assisted Spinebuster for a two count. Tank hit Smokes with a Suicide Dive. Hank hit Baylor with a side slam. Hank and Tank hit Baylor with the Honk Honk.

Baylor recovered and hit Tank with a knee. Tank turned Baylor inside-out with a clothesline. Referees held back OTM and The Culling. Drake showed up and hit Tank with a running knee. Baylor rolled up Tank for the win.

The Vanity Project defeated Tank Ledger and Hank Walker via pinfall in 11:21.

Vic Joseph hyped advertised matches for next week…

Zaria and Sol Ruca made their entrance…[c]

John’s Thoughts: A quality tag team match. The happy go lucky nature of Hank and Tank make it easy to sell them short on their technical ability. They’re good and this was a good high energy tag match. Good bounce back for the Vanity Project act after Drake’s loss earlier in the show.

Kelly Kincaid interviewed Sean Legacy about recently getting attacked by Keanu Carver. Legacy talked about how Carver also threw him through a wall during the ladder match last week. Legacy said he wants to fight Keanu Carver and will not back down. Legacy challenged Carver to a match in two weeks at Legacy’s hometown…

Vanity Project approached Robert Stone to demand that they be inserted in the tag team number one contenders match. Stone granted Baylor and Smokes their request. Miles Borne then approached Stone for a shot at the North American Title. Stone said before that, Borne needs to do something “out of character”…

Vic Joseph hyped matches for next week…

Kendal Grey and Wren Sinclair made their entrance…

5. Sol Ruca and Zaria vs. Kendal Grey and Wren Sinclair. Grey rolled up Sol for a two count. Both women traded counters to start at a stalemate. Wren tagged in and got a two count after Grey hit Sol with a dropkick. Zaria reluctantly tagged in and hit Wren with a corner splash. Zaria shoved Sol which the referee counted as a tag. Zaria broke up Sol’s pin attempt. Sol hit Wren with an X Factor.

Zaria blind tagged in. Grey tagged in and hit Zaria with a superkick. Grey hit Zaria with a slingshot stomp for a two count. Zaria hit Wren and Grey with a double suplex. Zaria tagged Sol in and worked reluctant tandem offense with Sol. Wren and Grey dropkicked Zaria into Sol and dumped them to ringside. Wren hit both opponents with a crossbody. Grey followed up with a Triangle Moonsault on both opponents.[c]

Grey gave Zaria a Lungblower and Tornado DDT. Sol and Wren tagged in. Wren rallied with axe handle strikes and a clothesline. Wren hit Sol with a Underhook Suplex and X Factor for a two count. Sol came back with a German Suplex. Sol hit Wren with a Missile Dropkick. Wren got a one count. Sol hit Wren with a knee for a two count. Sol went for a Sol Snatcher, but Zaria tagged herself in.

Wren rolled up Zaria for a two count. Zaria came back with a German Suplex. Grey tagged in. Grey put Zaria in a Cross Armbreaker. Zaria escaped with a pin attempt. Grey countered an F5 into a DDT. Zaria ran into Sol, which the ref counted as a tag. Zaria hit Wren with an F5 with Sol hitting Grey with a Sol Snatcher. Sol picked up the pinfall.

Sol Ruca and Zaria defeated Kendal Grey and Wren Sinclair via pinfall in 12:25. Sol Ruca is the number one contender to the NXT Women’s Championship.

Sol tried to help Zaria to her feet, but had her hand slapped away. Vic hyped next week’s advertised matches. Fatal Influence made their entrance to confront Sol Ruca. NXT closed…

John’s Thoughts: A fun tag team match where they are continuing the reluctant tag team gimmick with Za Ruca. The world’s longest breakup storyline continues, but it seems like there’s some light at the end of the tunnel as the most expected outcome is Zaria costing Sol her championship match to initiate a feud between Zaria and Sol Ruca. Maybe they go against the grain, but I wouldn’t as they’ve really dragged their feet with pulling the trigger on this breakup.

Solid edition of NXT as they continue to build up new storylines coming off the huge roster raid at the top of the card. I still think they should do more pre-tapes (and the stylistic one with Tatum Paxley was a nice taste of it), but what NXT is benefiting from after the roster raid is a little bit of freshness overall.
