WWE Friday Night Smackdown finished with 3.888 million viewers for Fox, according to Showbuzzdaily.com. The number was up slightly from the 3.869 million overnight count from Friday.
Powell’s POV: The 30-minute Blue Carpet pre-show event drew 2.329 million viewers. Smackdown performed well with over three times the number of viewers in the 18-49 male demographic than any other show on network television on Friday night. It’s also worth noting that Smackdown was unavailable to Dish Network subscribers due to a dispute between the satellite provider and Fox, which has since been resolved.
My fox affiliate didn’t show the preshow even thought they kept running commercials for it.
