WWE Smackdown on-site report: Zack Zimmerman’s in-person notes on the dark matches and attendance

By Jason Powell, ProWrestling.net Editor (@prowrestlingnet)

Dot Net staffer Zack Zimmerman attended Tuesday’s WWE Smackdown Live event in Worcester, Massachusetts and sent the following notes.

-Roughly one-third of the arena was tarped off. I’d guess 3,000 to 4,000 people were in attendance in a venue with a listed capacity of 14,800. It was a hot crowd though, as Worcester tends to be despite being small in size.

-Heavy Machinery beat the B-Team in the dark match opener. It’s shocking that the B-Team are still a thing.

-During the commercial break that was held prior to the Andrade vs. Apollo Crews match, Heavy Machinery came out and cut a babyface promo. Otis danced and said the crowd was “blue collar solid” just like they are.

-In the dark main event, Roman Reigns beat Drew McIntyre. Reigns speared McIntyre and pinned him. It was a standard dark main event.
