Former WWE creative team member Robert Evans announced on his social media page that he quit the company. Reports earlier on Thursday indicated that Evans was fired by Vince McMahon for allowing McMahon’s name to be mentioned during Bret Hart’s speech at the WWE Hall of Fame, but Evans’ brief statement makes it clear that he opted to leave the company.
Powell’s POV: Evans did not indicate whether there was backlash over the Hall of Fame or if he left the company for another reason. We’ll be sure to pass along any details should he choose to clarify.

Who?
I honestly never heard of this guy, but best of luck to him in his future endeavors. I also found it weird that DX, especially Triple H kept name dropping Vince McMahon during their induction speech as though it was a “taboo thing that you just shouldn’t do.” Maybe the two things were connected and they did it to prove a point that they could say his name as often as they like but other people are restricted and/or prohibited from saying it.
Who? hmmm… that’s usually my take when Jason Powell says Jake Barnett will doing the Smackdown live review, however unsubstantiated rumors have it he isn’t allowed to use or name drop Jason Powell during the review…..LOL:) J/K
