New Women of Honor Champion Mayu Iwatani announced that she will defend the championship for the first time in Japan. Iwatani will defend the title against Konami on Feb 24 in Osaka, Japan.
Powell’s POV: Iwatani defeated Kelly Klein to win the WOH Championship on February 10 in Miami, Florida. I assume Iwatani will be at the ROH 17th Anniversary show, but the ROH website listing for that event is dated in that it shows Klein as the champion.
My 1st WOH title defense is Feb 24, in Osaka. My challenger is Konami, a submission wrestler. I have to be careful, she’ll come after the knee I just rehabbed! I’m proud to be the 3rd WOH champion. I’ll defend this belt and return to the ROH ring. Please give me your support! pic.twitter.com/A7qXwyRaDa
