Thursday’s Impact Wrestling television drew 296,000 total viewers on Pop TV, according to Showbuzzdaily.com. The number was up from the 283,000 viewers the show accumulated the previous week.
Powell’s POV: Impact aired opposite the deciding game of the Stanley Cup Final, which delivered 6.588 million viewers for NBC. Impact would air opposite the NBA Finals next Thursday if a sixth game is necessary. It doesn’t look like it will be at this point with the Warriors up 3-0, but never say never. Last year, Impact Wrestling produced 318,000 viewers viewers on the Thursday, June 8 edition.

Clearly, Impact fans are aware of the NBA and NFL. What they need to do is make NFL and NBA fans aware of Impact.
I think at this stage, the NFL probably won’t be working with WWE anytime soon. Might be a good time for the NFL and Impact to stick it to WWE by joining forces.
Well, at least, Impact (& WWE) won’t have to worry about the NBA for a while. Could you imagine the ratings for Raw vs Game 5. Man, was the Finals a no-contest.
