WWE wrestler Roman Reigns (Joe Anoa`i ) is included in a short list of celebrities identified by imprisoned steroids dealer Richard Rodriguez as being former customers. In a video posted by Jon Bravo, Rodriguez speaks from jail and lists Reigns along with actors Mark Wahlberg and Josh Duhamel as clients. Watch the video below or via Youtube.com.
Powell’s POV: Rodriguez, co-owner of the Iron Addicts gym in Miami and the founder and CEO of Wellness Fitness Nutrition, is accused by the FBI of running an illegal steroid operation. The FBI believes Rodriguez and his partners of purchased steroids in China and then repackaged them and distributed them through his website. Rodriguez was indicted and is currently in jail. A judge revoked his bail after prosecutors accused him of lying about reasons he cited for traveling out of the state.
Rodriguez claims that he was introduced to Reigns by one of the FBI’s informants. Rodriguez does not offer a timeline of when he allegedly dealt with Reigns, who was suspended by WWE in January, 2016 for a Wellness Policy violation. Neither Reigns nor WWE have commented on Rodriguez’s allegations as of this update. Thanks to a number of readers for passing along the video, which now appears on TMZ and other mainstream outlets.
