ESPN’s “30 For 30” documentary is still in production. AwfulAnnouncing.com reports that director Rory Karpf is still conducting interviews for the documentary, which does not have an official release date. However, the story lists a potential timeline for a spring or summer of 2017 release.
Powell’s POV: The story states that Karpf has interviewed 43 people thus far. In the interest of full disclosure, I was among those 43 people. More importantly, Undertaker, Ricky Steamboat, Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Jim Ross, Eric Bischoff, Sting, and Flair’s three living children were interviewed. As previously noted, Karpf previously directed the I Hate Christian Laettner and The Book of Manning documentaries.
