-The WWE Hall of Fame ceremony will be held tonight in Dallas, Texas beginning with a red carpet special hosted by Maria Menounos at 6:00 p.m. CT. The actual WWE Hall of Fame ceremony will be held at 7:00 p.m. CT with inductees Sting, The Godfather, The Fabulous Freebirds, Big Boss Man, Jacqueline, and Stan Hansen. Joan Lunden will be presented with the Warrior Award, and Snoop Dogg will be inducted into the “celebrity wing” of the Hall of Fame. Join me for live coverage tonight as the show airs on WWE Network.

-Jim Ross is holding two one-man shows today in Dallas at the House of Blues. The first show is at 4:00 p.m. and the second show is at 11:00 p.m. Ross will hold a third show on Monday after Raw at 11 p.m. CT. Our own Will Pruett and Jake Barnett are planning to attend tonight’s show, so be sure to say hello if you happen to spot them.
-The Evolve 59 iPPV takes place today at 12:00 p.m. CT at Eddie Deen’s Ranch in Dallas, Texas with Ricochet vs. Will Ospreay, and Timothy Thatcher vs. Marty Scurll as two of the four matches in the USA vs. Europe series. You can order the show at WWNLive.com.
-Ring of Honor is in Dallas, Texas today at the Hyatt Regency Dallas Landmark Ballroom with a start time at 2:00 p.m. CT. The show headlined by Adam Cole vs. Kyle O’Reilly in a No Holds Barred match, and Bobby Fish vs. Roderick Strong in a best of three falls match. This event will be available on video on demand.
-Shimmer 80 will be held today at 4:00 p.m. CT at Eddie Deen’s Ranch in Dallas, Texas with a tournament to determine the first Heart of Shimmer Champion. Fox, and Andrew Everet, plus Matt Hardy vs. Lance Storm, and a 10-Man Tag Captain’s Choice match with Joey Ryan’s team facing Jeff Jarrett’s team.
-The WWN Live Mercury Rising event takes place tonight at 8:00 p.m. CT at Eddie Deen’s Ranch in Dallas, Texas. The event includes a night of appreciation for Terry Funk, the annual six-man tag match featuring Kota Ibushi, Johnny Gargano, and TJ Perkins vs. Will Ospreay, Tommy End, and Marty Scurll, and Timothy Thatcher vs. Sami Callihan for the Evolve Title. -WWE Fan Axxess continues today in Dallas, Texas at Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center. The Premium VIP sessions are Roman Reigns at 10 a.m. and Undertaker at 3 p.m. The VIP sessions are Mick Foley at 8 a.m., Alberto Del Rio and The Dudley Boyz at 1 p.m., Kevin Owens at 6:00 p.m., and Bray Wyatt at 8:00 p.m. The wrestlers taking part in general admission signings at 8:00 a.m are Rusev, R-Truth, Paige, Curtis Axel, Adam Rose, Heath Slater, Vader, Diamond Dallas Page, and Lana.

-Hard Boiled Haggerty (a/k/a Don Stansauk) was born on April 2, 1925 and died on January 27, 2004 at age 78.
-Jack Evans is 34 today.
-Chris Kanyon (a/k/a Chris Klucsarits) took his own life at age 40 on April 2, 2010 after battling depression issues.
