WWE Smackdown rating: Did the follow-up to Randy Orton turning on Cody Rhodes boost the numbers against March Madness?

By Jason Powell, ProWrestling.net Editor (@prowrestlingnet)

WWE Friday Night Smackdown finished with an average of 1.439 million viewers for USA Network, according to ProgrammingInsider.com. The number was up slightly compared to the previous episode’s 1.419 million average viewership.

Powell’s POV: Friday’s Smackdown finished with a 0.32 rating in the 18-49 demographic, equal to the previous week’s 0.32 rating. The numbers were essentially the same as the previous episode, which is actually good news given that they are above the show’s average. One year earlier, the March 21, 2025, edition of Smackdown produced 1.459 million viewers and a 0.39 rating for USA Network.
