Impact Wrestling Emergence lineups: The advertised matches for the next two weeks of themed shows

By Jason Powell, ProWrestling.net Editor (@prowrestlingnet)

Impact Wrestling is advertising the following matches for the Emergence themed editions of their weekly television shows.

August 18

-“The Motor City Machine Guns” Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley vs. “The North” Josh Alexander and Ethan Page for the Impact Tag Titles.

-“The Good Brothers” Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson vs. Ace Austin and Madman Fulton.

-Chris Bey vs. TJP vs. Rohit Raju in a Triple Threat for the X Division Championship.

-Moose vs. Trey Miguel for the TNA Championship.

-Taya Valkyrie vs. Kylie Rae (at Wrestle House).

August 25

-Deonna Purrazzo vs. Jordynne Grace in a 30-minute Ironman match for the Knockouts Championship.

-Eddie Edwards defends the Impact World Championship in an open challenge.

Powell’s POV: I was hoping for a two-week break from the Wrestle House campiness, but at least Valkyrie vs. Rae has the potential to be a good match if they get more time than the typical Wrestle House matches. Overall, night one looks like a good lineup on paper. Impact Wrestling airs Tuesdays at 9CT/10ET. John Moore’s reviews are available shortly after the show, and my audio reviews are available for Dot Net Members on Wednesdays.

The new edition of the Pro Wrestling Boom Podcast with Jason Powell features referee Rob Page discussing the difficulty of reffing tag matches in the modern era, making three counts if a wrestler's shoulders are down even if it wasn't the planned finish, the growth of F1rst Wrestling, and more...
