AEW President Tony Khan publicly took issue with AEW’s social media tease for a big announcement that turned out to be the Dynamite television being held in Jacksonville, Florida on January 1. “Jeff, let’s do our best not to toy with people’s emotions like this,” Khan wrote on Twitter. “We got people who aren’t near the Florida market all excited, now we have to come up with another huge announcement, one that affects all of our fans everywhere, to make it up to them. So that’s what we’ll do.”
Powell’s POV: I believe the “Jeff” that Khan addressed his post to is Jeff Jones, who handles AEW social media pages. Jones previously worked for Ring of Honor in a similar capacity and worked as “The Judge” Jeff Jones in ECW. I’m not sure if Khan intended to send the message directly to Jones or if he wanted it to be viewed by the masses, but he has yet to delete the post as of this update. While Jones was simply trying to build up interest in the Jacksonville announcement, his boss is right in that it ended up feeling like a letdown to fans who don’t live in the area.

Terrible TV show, thin roster, and now a clown show on social media. This company was DOA.
Hopefully a real wrestling company comes along and goes for it with a real, sports like presentation, since WWE is horrendous right now and AEW is even worse.
Yeah, something your useless troll ass will never produce on your own either. Little bitch boy armchair quarterback.
One of the 16 remaining AEW marks is an internet tough guy.
